Hannah spent her life feeling the weight of disappointment. 

No matter how much she tried, how much effort she made towards pleasing her family, friends and employer, it seemed that what she did was never good enough to gain acceptance.

Fortunately, the young woman found solace within the world of books. From an early age, she read constantly in search of a life where she never fell short of the expectations of others. It was easier to immerse herself within the world of literature and live vicariously through the characters within novels than to place herself in the position of another possible rejection.

Unaware of the invisible forces arrayed against her, Hannah had resigned herself to a life confined within the pages of a book.

What happens when she meets someone who begins to dismantle the fortresses that have protected Hannah for most of her life?
